Craft Retreat 13th-15th June 2025

A true 4.5-star pampering weekend away from it all! Come and join us for 3 full days in the beautiful Adelaide Hills where we will be creating some amazing projects using Mintay products. Your whole kit will be provided, and full instructions, including video tutorials and assistance will be given throughout the 3 days.

This weekend is all about leaving the hustle and bustle behind to enjoy calm, positive time and serenity while you create. There will be no set agenda so you can craft and create your projects at your own pace. This way, you will have time to relax, learn and have fun while creating beautiful, designed projects in your own time.You can choose to make as much or as little as you want. Everything you need will be in your kits so you can finish at home if you wish.We will be using products from the Mintay collection. (Project(s) to be announced).

You will receive a Goody Bag with all the designed projects kits, embellishments and full instructions to create. And some other surprises. I will be there to help with any questions or techniques too!

You will be given a project booklet with all the set projects and full instructions to keep. There will also be video tutorials recorded on a private Facebook page for you to access during and after the event.

Your fabulous weekend begins on Friday whatever time you can arrive. Craft room opens at 10am. Morning tea will be served at 10.30am (it can be put aside for you if need be). Your table will be ready waiting for you to unpack your tool kit plus all your goodies from your Goodie Bag. Everything you need will be in there.

You can explore the Resort Park by taking a leisurely walk around the grounds, sit and relax with a cup of tea or get started on your projects. There will be samples on display so you can see what the completed project(s) will look like.

There will be internet access so you can also log into our private Facebook group or my YouTube videos to watch the tutorial videos.

Those who know me, know that I LOVE to spoil you and try to make your weekend as special as possible. There will be prizes, pillow gifts, games, and other sweet surprises for you throughout the weekend.

The craft room will be warm and comfortable as will your cabins with air conditioning and electric heated beds!

Please feel free to bring along any other projects you wish to work on.The food is delicious, the setting is beautiful, the accommodation lovely and the time away precious!

You will need to bring:

- Your own craft tool kit supplies

- Snips/scissors

- Ink pads (I will let you know what colours - & I will bring mine, but it may speed up things to have your own).

- Pencil- Rubber

- Ruler

- Tweezers

- Paper piercer tool

- Your favourite adhesives

- Dimensionals, Double Sided Tape, Mini Glue Dots & liquid glue

- Craft mat (I will supply a paper mat)

- Wet ones

- Water bottle

- Snacks (but probably won’t need them!)

- Any other items you like to use

- Money for Saturday & Sunday breakfast (or BYO) & Friday & Saturday diners

Craft at Home

If you can not make it the retreat, I am also offering you the option to participate at home. You will receive the same contents in your Goodie Bag as everyone else (including give aways, pillow gifts etc), and you can enjoy creating your projects in the comfort of your own home using the video tutorials.

The kits will be posted after the event.$270 post included.

Accommodation Details

The units & cottages are walking distance away from the craft room, they have been renovated and have comfortable heated beds, a kitchenette, kettle, microwave, fridge, lounge area, TV and fabulous showers!

There are lots of different units and cabins to choose from, I recommend the two-bedroom units. Each room has a queen size bed and split system air conditioner. They average $188/night twin share (prices can fluctuate during the seasons).

There are also two-bedroom units – 1 queen and 2 singles. You can even go for a larger cottage if you have a bigger group. All bookings must go through the resort directly, a deposit for the first night is due on booking. Deposit & Payment

A $150 deposit (non-refundable) on booking. This is essential or I can not hold your spot.

Once you have registered - If you are a Facebook user, I will invite you to a private group where all information will be shared.

Refund Policy

Due to the time, effort, personal details, planning, and investment put into this intimate event far in advance for everyone attending, all deposits and payments are final and 100% non-refundable. In the unlikely event the retreat is cancelled by the attendee or organizer due to illness or COVID restrictions you will have an option to attend a rescheduled event or have your Goodie bag and gifts sent to you to create at home.

There is also an option for you to transfer or gift your spot to another to enjoy.

Cancellations of accommodation is between you and the Resort…keeping in mind, you will need to settle the fees with your cabin buddy (unless you can find someone to take your place in the cabin, out of fairness and consideration, you will be required to still honor your share of the fee).

Other Information

•The Maples Shop will have some essential items you might need – extra adhesives, cardstock, embellishments, Designer Paper, Chippies etc.

•To cut costs, it’s BYO breakfasts or you can join me for a cooked breakfast in the main street of Hahndorf.

•I will decide what project(s) we will make over the next few months; I am waiting to see what new products and collections Mintay will have available. It may be a mini album, cards and or other 3D projects.

•Friday & Saturday evening meals – to be organised, we are likely to book and eat at one of the local restaurants in Hahndorf. (You may choose to go home at this time and return in the morning, but we will be having catch up/free time in the craft room after diner.)

•Accommodation – you have a choice of a queen size bed in a cottage to yourself, a shared room or a two-bedroom cottage that can sleep up to three peeps. There are also other cottages that can sleep larger numbers.

•Don’t live too far away? You are also welcome to just stay at home and come every day.
